Robin Speer began working in the policy-making arena at the federal level in 2000, including four years on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. He served in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, during Stephen Harper’s tenure there.

Prior to joining StrategyCorp, Robin was Vice President, Public Affairs of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association. As Vice President of this national industry association, Robin worked extensively within several diverse sectors, including in the areas of agriculture, energy, transportation, and the environment. In this position, he gained experience managing stakeholder relations, and conducting public and government relations for this broad coalition.

Robin has worked in conservative campaigns and within the party machinery for over a decade: in Ottawa, in his native province of Saskatchewan, and at the local level. In addition to experience in many local campaigns, Robin also has experience at the national level, working in the Conservative Party of Canada war room in the successful 2005-2006 federal election campaign.

Raised in west-central Saskatchewan, Robin was educated at the University of Saskatchewan where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies, and he holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management from the University of York.
