Robin is an accomplished advocate and advisor on policy and issues management and has a proven track record of getting results.
Prior to joining StrategyCorp, Robin served as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care. In that capacity, Robin managed several significant policy areas and assisted in the development and review of new policy initiatives and their communications roll-out. She worked closely with top level bureaucrats and major stakeholders and developed an expertise in managing government process to achieve specific results.
Before serving in the Ontario Government, Robin practiced litigation with a major Bay Street law firm and, over the course of some ten years, specialized in commercial, health, municipal and environmental litigation. As a litigator, she analyzed factual situations and cases, provided strategic advice, managed and resolved complex issues and crises on behalf of clients, and shepherded clients toward success in what was for many an unfamiliar process. Robin has strong oral and written, advocacy, mediation and negotiating skills, developed through specific training programs, her work as a litigator and as a consultant in the business world. Robin continues to be a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Robin's background and experience in the public sector and law enable her to offer important insights to clients of StrategyCorp. Robin is a long-standing and well-respected Conservative activist at the provincial and federal levels. She has held a variety of positions in federal and provincial election campaigns and in leadership campaigns.
Robin obtained a B.A. (Joint Honours) in Political Science and History and an M.A. in Political Theory from McGill University in Montreal, studied at L'Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris, and holds an LLB from the University of Toronto.
